3 months!

I can't believe how much she grew in just one months time

My little snuggly newborn officially was a baby when she turned 3 months old.

She is so happy all the time.

Lyla loves to look all around her. She want to sit up all the time and be able to take in all the sights

Her head was still a little wobbly back then, but it was getting stronger every day since she would finally tolerate tummy time

At this point she was a great sleeper. She was only waking up once at night and occasionally even sleeping through the night.

My favorite was that we always took our morning nap together. This was by far the best part of my day!

Lyla finally found her fingers! And boy does she love to munch on them!

She was also starting to grab things. Mostly it was just the blanket in her car seat (and a sock!) but her little fingers were starting to explore the world around her

Lyla loves her bath time! She was finally even starting to play in the water a little bit

Lyla also went on her first plane ride when we went to Ohio to visit our friends and family there

She got to spend two weeks there! Gramma Barb was sure to spend a lot of time showering her with love and attention

She got to hang out with some of my friends, with the Bates family at our annual Christmas gathering, and with her Elmore cousins.

She especially loved meeting her Great-Grandparents since Cindy Mae Bates is who she is named after

It was a great trip overall. I can say that it was the start of a sleep nightmare though. Going through a 4 hour time change was hard on her. My good little sleeper went a little crazy.

Before we left on the trip we went in for her 12 week ultrasound appointment. She did a great job during the procedure. Such a sweet baby

We found out that her hips are genetic and that the sockets are still shallow. The doctor wants her to continue to wear her brace but now she is able to take it off 4 hours a day. We are getting an X-ray done in the beginning of February and see what the next steps are

I love this little girl with all my heart and I thank God every day for this beautiful gift!!!
